You provide: name, email, conversation messages, and usage data. Payment is handled securely through Apple (in-app) or Stripe (web) — we never see or store your full payment info.
Auto-collected: device type, app version, usage patterns, crash logs, IP address (security only).
We do NOT collect: your location, microphone, camera, contacts, or data from other apps.
Only to: provide and improve the app, maintain your history, send service notifications, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements. We do not use your mental health conversations for ad targeting or AI training without your explicit opt-in.
Conversations may be processed by artificial intelligence systems to generate responses. These systems operate automatically and do not involve human review unless required for security or support.
Full stop. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information — especially your mental health conversations — to anyone.
Only with: Apple and Stripe (for payment processing), infrastructure providers under strict agreements, and law enforcement only if legally required (we'll notify you if possible).
We may store and process data using secure third-party infrastructure providers such as cloud hosting, analytics, and error monitoring services. All providers are bound by strict data protection agreements.
All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS. Conversations stored locally use AES-256 encryption. Cloud-synced data is encrypted at rest by our infrastructure provider. Access to conversation data is strictly limited and logged, and only permitted when necessary for security or support.
You can access, correct, delete, or export your data anytime. Delete your account in Settings and all your data is permanently removed within 30 days. Email support@heyven.app for any requests.
When Incognito Mode is on, conversations are not saved to your device or our servers. Session data is discarded when the session ends. While Incognito Mode prevents conversations from being stored, standard network security logs may still be temporarily recorded.
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Ven is not for children under 13. If you believe your child has an account, email support@heyven.app and we'll delete it immediately.
Ven is operated in the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Ven after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
